Three-Season Sunroom Addition

The homeowners had a dark rear corner of their home that received no natural light and wanted to add a sunroom that could be used nine months of the year. The addition involved a full foundation, structural framing, and a standing seam metal roof with skylights. Three walls of thermally broken aluminum windows with low-E glass keep the space comfortable from early spring through late fall. Radiant heated floors extend the usable season further. The interior is finished with white shiplap walls, concrete tile floors, and built-in bench seating along the window walls. French doors connect the sunroom to the existing family room.
